Description

You must register directly through LCI

An effective Pull Planning meeting requires good meeting timing, milestone definition, a shared understanding of the project’s technical scope and challenges, and clarification of work zones and paths. Effective meeting facilitation coordinates these various aspects to help attendees prepare for the meeting, be engaged during the meeting, and gain buy-in to the resulting work plan. Join us to:

1. Understand the facilitator’s role in Pull Planning meetings
2. Learn how to gain buy-in during Pull Planning meetings
3. Understand the Do’s and Don’ts for Pull Planning facilitation

We will be practicing with the Catered Event Simulation – a high-energy exercise that is guaranteed to engage even the most jaded practitioners. Those with less experience – learn how to make handoffs explicit between workers and experiment with sequencing alternatives. Those with more experience – try your hand at facilitating a group during the simulation.
