Description

SOLD OUT! Please contact Kara Cady at cady@agcmass.org to be placed on the wait list.

The AGC MA ELDS is a structured program starting with a two hour DISC Assessment session followed by eight (8) 90 minute sessions delivered every other week over four (4) months. Sessions will focus on construction business and leadership/management topics. Each session will be taught by one or more senior personnel of an AGC MA Member Firm providing participants industry expertise and access to role models. The ELDS is intended to provide AGC MA members with the opportunity to invest in employees who are underrepresented in middle and senior management roles.

The AGC MA ELDS will include two networking opportunities: one between the participants, immediately following the DISC Assessment session and a second between the participants, their sponsors and the series instructors. The purpose of these events is to develop a network of support to the participants throughout their careers.

At the conclusion of the program, there will be a graduation in which students will receive a certificate noting their achievement. Participants must attend all sessions to be eligible. The objective is that the participants will receive a valuable credential that will increase their value within their organization and beyond.

Participants must apply with the support of a sponsor from their organization.  Sponsors will play an active role throughout the series by conducting monthly check-ins and reviews.

Who should attend? The AGC MA Emerging Leaders Development (ELD) Series provides construction focused business, communication and leadership skills to mid-level, superintendent, and project manager level individuals identified within a company for their potential elevation into advanced management and leadership positions in the near future.
